For much of that time he was an busy participant in the main organisations in the UK - a former President of the Astrological Lodge of the Theosophical Society, as well as former Chairman and Vice-President of the Astrological Association of Great Britain. . He is one of astrology's foremost technical experts and is deeply concerned to clarify and streamline astrological techniques for the practicing astrologer. His booklet on progressions has become a favorite amongst students and teachers. As the A.A. Book Steward for many years he is also an expert on contemporary astrological literature and published an indispensable annotated Reading List for students at a time when there was no such available guidance. He is currently the astrological editor of a major publishing house and has collaborated with a number of major world-wide astrologers in providing technical expertise for their books.
